WILL a pair of 12 inch re audio sx work on a 6-7.5 cubic ft box?

i might recone my subs to 15s later on and well could i have a 6-7.5 cubic ft box for the 2 12 inch re audio and later have the same box juzz cutout a bigger hole for the 15 inch subs??

im pretty much think they will be bottoming out and i think im gonna get some huge impedance rise...

i know man but what can i do to make a 6-7 cubes of space work on a pair of 12 inch sxs and be ready when i recone them

Just be careful with the volume. I have had 10's in 3 cubes and 12's in upwards of 15cubes by themselves.

If all else fails, you could add volume to the box with bricks,or make a box for inside the box or add a large slant board to take up volume. Any works to take up volume and later can be removed.
