I've seen it done before. Sometimes the wheel just went on bc the cars studs weren't that thick but a couple times I've seen people get the hole drilled larger which I definately wouldn't suggest.
they work fine, you mau have to get hub centric rings for like 30 bucks. Many of us Grand Prix guys run 114.3 due to the fact there are so many more wheels to choose
^Us N-body guys sometimes do the same. A hubcentric ring seems to do the trick for most, but some have experienced front end vibration after the rings are installed. Though these days it's getting easier to find 5x115 wheels.
I sell wheels for a living and I would not recommend it. The problem you are going to face in the long run is it puts stress on the lugs and the hub itsself. Not cool. I have a 5X112 bolt pattern and I can put a 5X100 wheel on it, but it would be foolish to do so especially how expensive repairs are.
lots of people do it. i wouldn't. it's just going to add stress to the studs when you tighten it down. they'll be slightly bent which is not good because that changes the tensile strength which weakens the studs.
ive been running 2001 cobra wheels on my 1998 regal gs for a long time now. never had a problem. just check your lugnuts every so often. in a case like audicaos mentions it is a big change in size. but you are talking about .7mm here. its fine. just make sure the hubs fit the wheels right.
