Will 4 gauge work for this?

I have an xtant x1001 and it says to install with 1/0 gauge but i already have 4 gauge in the car. I also have a crossfire 4 chanel amp running off of it. I am not going to be doing any competitions or anything so will the 4 gauge work or do i really need to put the 1/0 in??

4ga is good upto 150 amps under 25'.
