Wicked One!

My picture looks more realistic //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

How does that beast sound? I think I wanna give this a go with some cheap 8-10 inchers. 36" x 24" isn't really that big at all, certainly not in a truck or SUV or hatchback. I'll probably use it for home audio.

Using a box that's too small can have adverse effects both on your system's output level and on its deep-bass performance. Efficiency is another matter of concern; typically, sealed-box systems are less efficient than vented systems (see below) and require more power and equalization to achieve comparable output levels

that's talking about functions of boxes in general, my question mainly pertains to the Wicked one. Though many things are the same, i doubt if all things remain the same after all is said and done.

If 50w to a pair of $5 8" power acoustic subs is decent enough for this picky bastage to listen too. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif Imagine what decent subs with power would be like. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It's not that big really . a pair of 8's in this one in the back of the chitbox

i bet that would sound much better with the port/opening firing down.

i appreciate the help guys but i heard that the l7's would be abd for that box because they move too much and that with that design i wont be able to get the full potetial out of the sub with that box.
