i was thinking of getting the alpine type-r http://www.caraudioexpert.com/productView.asp?productID=4531 or the new kenwood http://www.caraudioexpert.com/productView.asp?productID=4832 my plan is to buy 1 and put it in a ported box also i have a 360watt kenwood amp i plan to use tell i get cash for a bigger amp also there about the same price so wich one would be better

yep the type r will be nice .. but that amp .. nooooo save up ur nickels and dimes and get an amp that will really push that thing like it needs to be

i listen to rap... and i like lots of bass my price range is about 150bucks

You can get an Alpine type-x 10" for a little over 200$ which puts out good bass and outstanding quality throughout the spectrum, for but just straight up pounding get the type-r deff get a better amp though.

i have the profile ap1000m. i bought it a few weeks ago, so far i like it, but im thinking of returning it and using my mtx 250d if no one buys it from me

hell nah, if u want straight up pounding go w/ a solobaric. u could get an l7 for under 200 i think

ahh i see. well i saw he mentioned kicker so i thought that was now in his options
