Wich HU part II

Well After a lot of reasearch I narrow it down to these 3 Headunits for my accord coupe 2004

Alpine 9855

Pioneer DEH-80MP

Pioneer DEH-P9600MP

The HU will be going in here

My system consists of:

2 Sets of Focal Polyglass Speakers (Front and rears, rears dont use tweeter)

1 10" Diamond Audio D3 Subwoofer (Sealed)

1 AudioControl EQL

1 JL audio e6450 (Six Channel 450watt amp, powers 4 mids, 2 tweeters and Sub)

1 Navone 4 channel LOC

So the question is wich one? I want sound quality and a lot of customization in the sound processing department, if you want to suggest other models between thes 2 brands please do so.

You have to consider the Alpine unit has all the known problems fixed as it is a very recent updated model... remember SQ and a lot of DSP is what I am looking for.

The cleansweep wont give a lot of customization in sound besides I will still be working with a bad source wont I?

from what i hear it will make it sound 'amazing', plus you'll get to keep the clean oem look!!!

just get an eq, and have total control

The cleansweep will help with flatening the output, but it will not fix the other issues that the stock Accord has. Plus you will need a seperate volume knob.

FYI, I just purchased a Eclipse CD8455 for my 2003 Accord. I have the "Premium" system and there was alot of noise using LOCS.

When I get the Eclipse installed I will update my SoundDomain page with info and pics.

Of your choices I personally would pick the alpine 9855. It will match the Accord lighting and has an input for using your factory steering wheel remote.

With that angle a fold face may not be the best idea,but I can't tell very well from the picture. I have heard bad things about the touch scroller on the alpine.

For that car I would probably choose the first pioneer.

I'd suggest an Alto Moblie Total Recall> than Cleansweep....and has tuning control(EQ/TA/xover/gain /etc...) using real deal AD/DA conversion..

will eclipse be A LOT better than the other 3 HU's? My amp can take a max of 8 volts so I should be fine... Do 8 volts increase the fidelity of the music?
