Why your dog is the coolest. Post your pictures.

Yep, I've got a boxer - copper, and an aussie - ruby, both great dogs.
Aussies are very intelligent dogs - boxers, not so much lol.
I think that Boxers are smarter than many would give them credit for -- but I will agree that they are not as trainable as many dogs. I don't think that's necessarily from a lack of intelligence, it would just take a lot of creativity to keep them interested. Definitely stubborn. Of course opinions differ, my wife thinks our Boxer is a complete fool.

Mine:

He's my buddy. I had a scare not long ago. He ate too fast and bloated, which is extremely dangerous and can be deadly. Luckily we had a preventitive surgery called a gastropexy which prevented his stomach from twisting and potentially killing him. Just an fyi, if you have a big dog, look into the gastropexy.

I've came to conclusion it's hit or miss on boxers... hehe

My old one Buster was very smart, yet not trainable till about age 3.

This one we have now is dumb as a bucket of rocks, but yet knows every trick in the book(sit down, speak, roll over, lay down, stay, opening doors, etc...).

my dogs teh cool because he howls when we dont answer the phone

Its all in the genetics, We have a mixbred chow/golden/??? only reason we know its probably part chow is its black tongue. He is smaller than golden retrievers typically are, but he has the intelligence of one. Now we just got a full bred golden female a year and a half ago and the pound puppy is much smarter.
