Here is Dakota getting a treat from mom.

He is the best dog ever. I got him when I bought my first house when I was young and single. I lived alone in a 3 bedroom house so he had his own room. He and I hung out all the time and he went everywhere with me. Now a 11 years old he is still with us and in perfect health. My wife is as attached if not more so to him than I am. She works from home all the time and I travel a lot for my job so they have become very close.

Pretty big dog there Priest. Looks like he could eat that whole box of treats...and the little dog thats on front of it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

His dog just looks really massive though. Not like great danes though. They tend to be mostly lean muscle and just tall. Malamutes do get pretty big though in the sense Im speaking of though.

He is actually a bit short for an Akita (Japanese blood line instead of American. The Jap blood lines tend to be shorter and stockier). He is wide a stout though for sure. He was at the vet last week and weighed in at 122lbs. His has a huge head and is really broad through the mid-section. He does look big when using my wife for comparison considering they weight about the same... (don't tell her I volunteered that information)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

Oh, as as far as eatting that whole box of treats....he is a **** walking stomach. 100% food motivated. I call him my 4 legged furry shit machine.

Has he been through the chewing phase yet? Mine shredded a $1500 dual leather recliner and a sofa to go with it when he was about that age.

God, there's so many beautiful dogs on here. Im gonna need such a huge yard once I get out of college. I love big dogs and Im know Im going to have more than one. So far I want a malamute/husky, german shepard, Akita, rottweiler, boxer, pit bull, and/or lab. I've even been thinking about adopting an abandoned wolf pup. Just need to do a little more research on it first. But I've wanted a wolf ever since my grandfather first told me he had one as a pet for over 10 years. And the wolfs best friend was a monkey that my grandfather also rescued.
