Why won't this POS bridge like its supposed too!!??

I have a KAC-8401.. Not by choice it came with the vehicle I am swapping it in a week when my wire comes as I have a 4.125... ANYWAYS.. channel A will bridge and put out voltage JUST fine..

channel B will not..?? channel b puts out like 10 volts when bridged.. but it still puts out power to each of its channels if you get what I mean

Channel A is a L and R bridged..

Channel B is the other L and R bridged..

now then channel A bridges Channel B will not.. but the L on channel B puts out power fine and so does the R even in BRIDGED but won't put power to the bridge..??!!! wtf is going on!

Channel A is in mono Channel B is in mono besides throwing this thing in the river anyone have any ideas?

heres the manual bottom of page ten is exactly how I have it.. I assume this thing is busted..?

My db A5 does something similar

If you bridge the rear channels, then low pass them. It will only do like 40wrms, when its rated for 200. U HP it again and the voltage shoots up to rated. Very odd

well I put channel b in stereo and it sends power to the bridge but that seems weird to me.. ?? lets see how it sounds I guess..??

I have that exact amp and I don't have that problem--maybe it's malfunctioning like you said. Will it work when connected w/o bridging?

well I left it in stereo mode and bridged then.. channel A sounded terrible when bridged in mono.. distorting and what not.. everything sounded fine once I left it in stereo and bridged.. owell I won't have this amp for long..
