Why won't my amp turn off?

whats the romote hooked up to? you need it on a switched 12v, i suggest useing the radio fuse if your head unit doesnt have a remote

to shut it off just unplug the remote wire.

Good idea, check that too OP. Sloppy installs are always fun to troubleshoot, lol.

Um okay so i had it unpluged for about 30 min then i reconected the rem and the power wire and all seems good. thanks

me too. thats why I said to check that first. left me dumbfounded on my last install lol
