So true man..And the worst of it all pertains towards Political gain...as well as the Rich..Its always been about Power, and Money..If you people dont think we are all not within slavement, best think about it, as the Bankers are the ones that dictate how this country operates,taxes,interest rates,social security taxes,and laws(Mandatory Health Insurance now) that are pushed daily towards less freedom in our own country..That my friends is real History..so when you go to the grocery store..just think about all that prepared food(meals/processed foods) you are buying,that soda rather than water,and fresh veggies, ect.,that you pay that tax on,and remember just where those tax dollars actually go?Feeding those big Bankers on a generated cycle man..Just like a circulating wheel that never stops.
I blame the democrats. I'm no republican, those guys are dumb too. But, in the purest form, republicans believe in no government, and the people govern themselves. In the purest form, taxes are a good thing. The problem is professional politician and corrupt politicians.
Democrats want as much government as possible. As much assistance for those who cant or wont help themselves, mandatory health care (In the purest form is a good thing, the idea is to have a bunch of healthy people pay health taxes so the less healthy can afford health care, that whole bill got botched up).
Personally... I like the idea of less government. Not to get rid of it completely, but to get rid of some of the taxes that I feel shouldn't exist. I don't mind funding the military, paying for their protection to keep wars overseas and not here, they'd also have no other way to get funding. I'm okay with that. I'm okay with paying for road taxes.... but not out of my paycheck, that is usually covered in gas tax, I have no problem paying for them to pave the roads I drive on, and if you don't drive you don't pay, just upped it here in Iowa, and there has been more road work being done than I've ever seen. Man it feels good to be out of Illinois where you pay more taxes and less gets done. Stop paying all these politicians hundreds of thousands of dollars. Man, it'd be less appealing to be president if you only make 75K and have to pay rent to live in the White House. This would likely get the right people in office. Don't let senators, governors, and representatives ran more than 2 or 3 terms, and only pay them 50kish. This would make these job less appealing. And stop paying people to sit on their couch. I hate that the most, IDK how many people I come across getting government assistance and I sit there and think, "man, I'm paying for this?" $1000 a kid and they don't even take care of them. Kids eat PBJ of lunch everyday while they go and eat out and buy cars. Pathetic.
I love/hate politics. Yet I'll probably get into them at some point because they are intriguing and I do want to try to make a difference. I probably wont go far because I'm not a hard core liberal or a hard core conservative. Maybe something local. Who knows, I'm only 22, I got like twice the life before I need to think of that.
