Why the **** are they banning the confederate flag?

Actually I'm not what most people would call a democrat. They would be appalled at my views. If you have read about history ,(from accurate sources) then you would know that what i said is true. In addition, your implied assumptions about my age are also wrong. Also, colleges are rife with the same sort of general misinformation as the rest of our society, so being a college graduate of the 80s and 90s isn't all that indicative of anything.
I prefer books myself. I try to stay away from the manufactured constructs of the corporate controlled media.
BASIC OUTLINE:::
When it was progressive to support equal rights regardless of race, GOP supported this and other progressive leaning causes. There was a lot of political strife in the GOP when the progressive Republican president Teddy Roosevelt bolted the party and tried running as a third party candidate, the Progressive party in the early 1900s. Roosevelt created this third party after he failed to block the re-nomination of Taft, his hand picked successor, who did not embrace his progressive policies . After that point, it was Democratic presidents Wilson and later FDR that really set their own party on the path of fully embracing the progressive policies that were formally at home in the GOP.
FDR's dominant political coalition included the entrenched racist Democrats in the south who opposed the GOP primarily on the basis of animosity towards their historical role in supporting equal rights for African Americans. Nixon devised the strategy for the GOP to pick apart the Democratic party dominance by pulling those 'Dixicrats' into the GOP. This started the trend of the GOP changing from the libertarian Goldwater candidacy towards the modern day social conservative dominated party. It took a century to happen, but the politics of the two parties did in fact flip to their opposites over the full course of the 1900s.

figure id drop my two cents in on this topic... AMERICA IS A BUNCH OF WHINE *****.... half the guys trying to get confederate flag removed due to salvery werent even slaves or had family as slaves... its something that gets overly used by all black people... most didnt even take the time to do the research to know that black people at the time flew the flag like the rest... some even fought in the civil war... OH NO SOMEONES OFFENDED.. lets leave our history behind... thats bullshit... do i whine everytime i see a african flag ? or any flag for that matter? its idiotic ... we are supposed to be american regardless of color creed blah blah... so why erase american history? should we remove the holocaust museum too... i mean if ur trying to erase bad stuff that happened in history... we live and we learn its when we forget that we repeat history... oh wait no that dont offend anyone... how about the fact that there are 300% more white slaves in *** trade now than there ever was slaves in slavery... that dont offend noone? this is supposed to be america whether you agree or not it supposed to be land of the free **** it up and deal with it.. now in my area they got a satan statue... everyone is trying to get removed... so let me get this right america home of the free... you can hang crosses on every corner ... but if someone decides they dont wanna go a different route its not ok cuz people are offended... its supposed to be home of the free... we are starting to become boarderline communist... noone said you have to support them or feel/act same way as them its about having the choice... we are slowly losing our personal choices that are being replaced by media/news ideals... the news lately makes me sick.... like kid rock said and i quote... "kiss my ***" was his only comment to those that oppose him flying the flag ... although he will remove from concerts and what not for media/fans/fear of media back lash.... i lived in georgia and im surprised none of the black folks down there said anything cuz they fly the flag as much as most white people do down there.. it wasnt about slavery it was about the south... the culture, the struggle... erasing the flag erases a part of black culture and struggle as well... imo america is going to hell in a hand basket... question is whats next? i am so tired of hearing about blacks and slavery... what about every thing that has happened since the 1800s? i think alot of blacks hold on to the slavery thing but not all blacks were slaves... look at ten years as a slave there were tons of free blacks during slavery... halve of them just dont take the time to do their research... well ive ranted long enough... I BELIEVE IN EQUALITY... if your gonna hang a cross dont get pissed when someone hangs a satanic symbol... as far as the flag... history will be history ... you cant change it... accept it and move on or be destine to repeat it... ALL THIS HAS DONE IS BROUGHT OUT MORE RACIST PEOPLE... FLAGS PRICES HAVE JUMPED AND CAME OUT WITH NEW DISTRIBUTORS EVERY WHERE... its a fight that cant be won... and does nothing but divide a already divided nation... well ive ranted enough but i could go on for hrs... do your research before you pass judgement .... how is this equality? land of the free... cant flY a flag of ur liking.. sounds like a third world country to me... im not a republican or democrate... JUST A AMERICAN... and wtf is up with the transgender kids nowadays on every news channel who the hell teachs them this ****? at 4-6YRS i didnt know what the hell a transgender was....(hell dont think i even knew the word yet) now kids can get transgender meds without parents permission... WTF.....
So I guess everything you say is law just because you say so. Jesus thanks for schooling me on that. Wow! The light has shone through.

Oh hell no. I'd call you the same type of idiot for believing what I say without doing your own research as if you followed everything the media says. My only point is to question everything. Including me.
