Why Rainbow Germaniums look different?

I noticed that some of the Rainbow Germaniums I've seen on here look a little different than the ones I have. Mine have two tabs for mounting the speaker wires like the first pic below. Others I've seen have a black plastic unit there and a different looking connection for the speaker wire as in the second pic from Rainbows website. Is the second pic a newer version or does this just vary among production or are they the same and I am seeing things lol.

Mine were also like the manufacturer picture. But i can't see the terminals on the germaniums in the top picture...only the terminals on whatever that sub is. Are you saying that your germaniums have wire terminals that are the same as that subwoofer's?

In the first pic those arent terminals, its the bottom of the spokes on the basket (near the beginning of the magnet boot).

Yeah I see now that in the first pic they aren't terminals but if they were thats what my Germanium 6.5 woofers look like, they have two tab terminals. I got them from 6spdcoupe so I doubt they are knock offs. Im out of town for the holidays but I can post pics when I get back Sunday. Anyone else seen Germs with tabs like I described?

This is driving me crazy I hope Im just not remembering right, I'm going to get someone to go to my house and take a pic and send it to me. Here's a pic of the fronts that I took a week ago for something else, should be getting a pic of the other side in an hour or so, also these were bought about 2 years ago, maybe they have changes since?

Ok I got the pics in they look like the second pic with the black piece and screws for the connection, I must have gotten my brain screwed up from all those fumes from teh fiberglass boxes I've been making.
