You are a moron, you can't compare the JL w7 to an SA 8; the subs are meant for 2 different purposes. JL is more SQ brand, Sundown will get you louder. Going for SQ JL would destroy sundown, but Sundown would be it in output, but does that make one brand worse than the other? No

I really hate people who try to compare JL to other brands and automatically say JL is crap because it doesn't get loud as the other brands. Hell JL has a lot of technology put into their gear, and they are by no means a crappy brand at all. The price might be a bit high, but they must be doing something right since tons of people still buy it.

ive never paid retail for any sundown products. and i've owned a lot.

good deal but even then people expect rediculous pricing imo (because they paid so much to begin with) if you can get good deals then right on thats good stuff all day.

i mean i like their products just isnt worth the money. its like you can get a VERY solid 5k rms amp for the same price as a Sundown 2k, lol or the laughable peice of crap JL 1000 which is an overpriced paper weight imo.

Please list amps that do the same power at all the rated ohm loads. I doubt you can.

People who have SQ setups don't need ridiculous amounts of power. Once again you are trying to put JL in the category of getting loud, and that's not what it's designed for.

idc about it doing same wattage on all ohms i mean if your smart you buy your amp according to the set up which no matter how you cut it 1000 watts can be had at ALMOST ANY ohms FAR FAR FAR cheaper than the JL 1000 and the only one ive ever seen clamped didnt even do rated (at 14 volts) did like 970 something

i mean JL themselves dont even MAKE an amp that can power the 13w7 (that ive ever seen) and if they did it would probably be like 2000 bucks

bro ive had 4 12w7s and heard and seen too **** many of them slash 1000s and never once have i been impressed in any way shape or form. i mean not when i consider the price the amp is no more than a 300 dollar amp hiked up like a mofo

The 1000 can power the w7 just fine, after all it is rated at 1000 w rms and the 1000/1 does its power as low as 1.5 ohms (which you can wire the 13w7 to).

Because the way people act about not just them but products like them example I'll put an XFL up against say an SA-12 any day and almost half the price of a Sundown. But people will bash products such as JL and then go spends 500+ dollars on like 1500 watts
I mean there are others like this (JBL, Skar) and still others just some examples id love to own any of these products honestly actually have owned a TON of stuff and I dont down any products performance until I have hands on expirence and I'm certainly not downing sundown just the bang for buck aspect

im tired of seeing a used 2000 watt amp for 400+ dollars thats all what people do doesnt bother me but all im saying is WTF is the logical reason behind it i see non. I can see owning them liking them bragging about them complimenting them....BUT not to the exstent i always read and see and not for the price either...just gets annoying i guess.
