Why is 6speedcoupe so rude?

meh, he was nice enough to me... not chatty, to the point. maybe you saw that as rude?
no not at all man, i don't give a crap if someone is talking to me when i buy stuff from them. As a consumer, all i require is a quality product, and timely delivery of that item. But he actually went out of his way to be rude and condescending to me, and i won't tolerate that at all. Ive dealt with tons of people on here and through stores regarding car audio, and no one has ever been rude to me like this.

well this guy was in my area, and i was 100% ready to use him, as long as his price wasn't absolutely outrageous ( i would have exceeded my budget because of his reputation) but now i wouldn't even buy his stuff even if he was 50% cheaper than the next. And that sucks about your situation, but that's kind of a strange assumption to randomly make about someone on the internet that they won't follow through just because they ask a question? Also, maybe no one follows through because your quotes aren't competive enough? With my box quest, i finally settled on a builder who wasn't even the cheapest, but i just felt the most comfortable with. So it was highly competive for me, i had quotes from several builders, all of whom i was highly considering, but after a few days thought, just settled on one.
Oh no, I'm not saying my quotes are the best. But I'm talking about the 80 of the bigger group that said "if you can wait a week or two, I'll have funds ready man, no problem." or "Yea man, just give me a day or two for the money and I'll send it"....I've heard every dammed excuse....

I'm sorry that you had such a bad experience with Don. I personally have dealt with him a couple times and I have nothing but great things to say about him. He is quite honest and very knowledgeable when it comes to audio equipment. You, like everyone else is entitled to your own opinion about someone or something. I'm sure Don will post a reply to your thread soon and I hope you two can settle your differences.

usually high end shops wont install what they dont sell
i think you might have missed my point then. I am not criticizing his store's policy, that is up to him and what he wants to do with his business, and i really don't care. What i do care about is when someone is outright rude to me. I am not upset that he wouldn't install my stuff, i would have just found someone else with no hard feelings. But i am not upset because of how rudely he responded.

i highly doubt it in all honesty. Mainly because i am in complete amazement that the one guy who was extremely rude to me like 2 years ago, was the same guy! And the first time, he was much much more rude to me than this one.

well that does ****, but there is no reason to generalize because of bad experiences. With me personally, whenever i buy stuff on here or anywhere, i never lead the seller on. I may ask questions a few different times to find out info, but i will never tell them i am ready to buy it unless i am actually going to buy it 100%. Otherwise it's just not fair to the seller.

lmao.... even though he's rude supposedly, you don't have to tell anyone ur not doing business with him
i didn't tell him anything, i don't know if he will read this thread, nor do i care. I posted this just to tell my own experience. q

I must say, I've had no problems with him. I asked a couple questions and he was nothing short of helpful. I WILL be buying my rainbow speakers through him for my future daily driver.
he was only charging 30 dollars more for rainbow speakers on here than the other dealer, and i was about to reconsider buying them from the other place just to pay extra to have him install my stuff, but then i just thought about his response and it made me mad again, and i refuse to now.

"Just so I understand correctly, you are going to be buying new equiptment and then you just want me for the install? Is there something wrong with the product lines I offer? Just curious..."

That is what he said in the PM. All i need to know is, why would that be something you would need say to a potential customer? it's ridicolous, and he did not need to word it like that at all.
