why is 1000W Hifonics more than 1200W hifonics?

Was just wondering why the

Hifonics TXI1008D

is more than the

Hifonics BXI1206D

Is there a big difference in quality between the Titans and the Brutus'?

Just made me wonder since they were both made by same company.

Yeah I wasn't sure what the real differences were besides the obvious power.

Was looking at purchasing one possibly, but seeing the lower powered one being more expensive had me wonder.

I will go way out on a limb and guess that the 08 is latest model - for various reasons, that usually means higher prices.

So what would you guys do? Would you buy the new one just because it's new even though it's little less power?

Or buy the older known one that has a bit more power?

I can't find the TXI1008 on the Hifonics site.

All the numbers end in 06 also.

It says with the Titan that it has "Soft-Start Amp Turn-On Thump Prevention".

So does that mean if I were to get the Brutus it's going to Thump on turn-on?

Cause from the descriptions that really seems to be the only difference.

Well Titan has 4gauge connections and Brutus is 2.

What's "Power from the Gods included" mean? Is that some lame little line they just threw in there. Cause that's how I'm taking it.

Another question. How do I tell how much power the amp can put out by the fuse?

Is it the RMS/Fuse rating? Or what's that tell me the voltage being used by amp?
