UPS wouldnt get here till next week

Last four packages from fedex have arrived AT LEAST a day early.
some people take pride in their work...ie thats why some are early and some are late. its not so much "why fedex is better than all" its more about "the people that work at that particular fedex branch actually enjoy work and take pride in knowing things are going better than people expec". just like some people will say home depot sucks and others say lowes sucks...they dont ****...its the people that those particular managers picked to work their that ****...

just my .02

Same thing happens to me all the time with fedex, it's usually at least a day early. With UPS my stuff can arrive at a location 15 miles away from my house 2 days before it's supposed to be delivered, and I will not see it until the expected delivery date.

I get stuff early alot, no matter which carrier I use. I generally prefer Fed Ex, but I also recognize UPS tends to hire better drivers (by far). Both companies have their advantages and disadvantages.

Grats on your new toy, whatever it is.

According to FedEx tracking my sub showed up 3 days ago. Hmmmm, nope it didn't acctually show up until yesterday NEXT DOOR. WTF is up with that? I think my FedEx driver is an asshat.

FedEx and UPS are the best by far, I dealt with all of them at work this year as a side project to get the best price/performance for my company's shipping needs. DHL is atrocious, you can really push them to give you a huge discount but you pay for it when approximately 35% of every package has some sort of problem. We easily lost triple what we saved over UPS in damaged or lost packages (some of which cost us deals with customers), not to mention the time spent figuring out how to solve all the problems they caused, 'cuz hey I don't work for free, time is money and all that cliche business rabble.

FedEx is the best imo, but also the most expensive and the least willing to cut you a deal to earn your business.
