why doesn't HU read ipad just as it would ipod

Thanks obviously you couldn't understand the different, although the OS is similar between ipod touches iphones and ipads all three are different. So your bottom dollar valor unit doesn't read ipads and im willing to bet it doesnt work with iphones either.

Amazing what you can learn from a comment with an explaination rather then just speaking the obvious. Thanks for the info

It's funny that my bottom dollar unit everyone talks smack about has ALL the features of the high end units, and even some better features for less then half the cost yet because of a few down falls that ALL the units have one or the other of my is "junk" . I'm OK with it because my unit will get me to any destination those high end units will and will play my music just as well. As a matter of fact the adjustability features with this unit exceed that of some high end. Does anyone bother to look at the features or just talk smack because of the name? I'm guessing the latter.
