x2. It's not 100% about slavery. I don't fly one but I agree 100% state's rights > federal rights.Let's not forget that the reason many say that it was a state's rights issue is that the Southern states wanted the "right" to keep slavery legal - which is what they would have done if secession was successful. So yes, it was about state's rights - but it is disingenuous to say that slavery wasn't a main component in the argument.
