why does speakers pop when system turned on?

I just wired my system... I plugged the bose amps/speakers into the preamps of my new pioneer mp3 H/U. Whenever I turn on the speakers, change radio stations, or reduce/increase volume from or to zero the speakers pops.

what causes popping sounds?? Please give me some ideas, thansk!
