why does my sub keep blowing

ok i have a 12' Kicker L7 and ever since i got a new amp i switched from a garbage visonik amp to a garbage sony amp its been screwing up... If you know how the sub has the 4 wires coming of the cones that go to the plates on the screws that connect to were you hookup the wires.. well first time one of them broke off the plate so me and my dad re sodered it back on and know that same one and a wire from the other coil broke off.. Is it just my shitty amp or a bad sub.. Please help me i want my bass backkkkk

it's probably just bad wiring. i dont think an amp can disconnect wires by sending elctricity to a sub. just connect the other one and it should be good

what do you mean its bad wiring like in the sub or to the amp.

these are the wires inside your box right? that hook directly to the subs. they may have just been lose from the manufacturer and all the bass disconnected them

sounds like your amp is tuned all wrong and causing clipping and causing the tinsle leads to break you probably got the bass boost turned way up huh?

yea i do and its not the wiring inside the box its the wiring coming of the cone of the sub..
