That or the specific cooling fluid in his amp needs to be replaced - worst case scenario.
Hey genious try this out when i have it all turned to 39 then turn the sub output up and it gets really really loud its then putting 65AC colts to it when can only or should only handle 38-39...here is an amazing concept.....when you turn the sub volume up it suddenly gets loud....hmmmmmmmm are you this stupid? When I have my deck volume set to 2 the system is really quiet. No shit thanks for the hot tip quincy! That sub control on your deck controls the input voltage for the sub channel at the amp, like a fader- if it's turned down the shit won't be loud. I set my system with the sub volume at +6 (goes from -15 to +6) so It won't go into clipping ever, but I can adjust it up and down, if you are trying to use it as a bass boost you are missing the point of a non-fading pre-out. I don't know if this is what you are doing, but it sure sounds like it. Reset your gain with the sub level turned up as well as the HU volume where you want- I think you are putting the cart in front of the donkey, and by donkey I mean you are an ***.
The woofer in that box will rise to 4-5 ohms... quit worrying so much about the voltage coming out of the amp, if you can get 70 volts and the sub doesnt get stinky, and it sounds good... leave it there.Hey genious try this out when i have it all turned to 39 then turn the sub output up and it gets really really loud its then putting 65AC colts to it when can only or should only handle 38-39...
