because no one knows him pretty much and people tend to judge alot on the interwebz. I myself was upset with him for a while but that is water under our bridge.

he really is not all that greedy. he gave away 2k in products all he asked was shipping charges. this does not include the people that actually won a contest.

he is biased, everyone on this forum is. He is a very understanding guy. I think more of you need to know him on a personal level

The way he acts on the internet, reflects upon him. If he doesn't want people thinking he's a dick, he shouldn't act like him. He gave away the product in hopes of boosting future sales. Still cool on him though, I thought what he did with the Alphadamp was great. He's incredibly biased, and moderates the hell out of his forums to make sure not a single hint of bad talk is brought about him. And greedy? He started a site for everyone to DONATE pictures to help the car audio community, called ampguts. He has since watermarked those pictures that were free for everyone to use and enjoy, and CHARGES people to view them, to view pictures. He charges people to view pictures that were donated to help people. Some people call this genius business, I call it taking things too far, and being exceptionally greedy. It's just not right as a person, and it's bad for the hobby.

Personally, I've had no issues for him. I just hate how much he moderates his forums, and the thing with ampguts. Other than that, I have nothing against him. I was merely listing reasons why others don't like him.

He is an incredibly accommodating guy every time I have dealt with him.

On a similar note, Goob has been as well, though I feel Ant has truly gone out of his way to help me.

People have to understand that while his forum(s) are a community, it is a business and cost money to run. I dont think many people understand how expensive web hosting can be for such a busy website.
