Why do systems sound louder om the inside then the outside?

Lol. I remember when i used to want it to be loud on the outside.

I'd stand away from my car, walk far away.

I even had my cousin drive away so i could see how far it was before i couldn't hear it.

Take your trunk, sunroof if so equipped, and doors off the car and you'll be carrying plenty of bass. Or build a proper system.

Usually the best sounding systems are the ones that can not be heard loud outaide even with the windows open. The sound deadener keeps the sound in too, one thing you can do in the future is sound deaden it less to hear more sound from outside
