Because this place is a seething pot of idiocy.

You can't ask any serious questions without getting some half-assed, barely legible response that doesn't even qualify as English. The fact that the average age is somewhere around high school level doesn't help, but even so, those are some barely competent high schoolers...if I really want to know something, I'll go to a place like DIYAudio or Audioasylum where the level of discussion is vastly better.

My view is slightly different. I don't believe half the idiocy is sincere. I think it is more satire. I could be wrong, but I just don't think the world has that much true stupidity. Perhaps I am naive in that respects. I just think of this place as AIRPLANE humor. Perhaps it just isn't your cup of tea, which is why you believe it to be true idiocy. The sites you named don't have enough traffic for this sort of "humor" to work, hence the non-existence.

DIYAudio has more traffic than this place, it's just the members are scattered throughout the world. So there are cultural barriers.
