why do aero ports have to be so confusing?

ok thats what i thought. Well my box isnt 15 in deep so i guess ill have to go with a subs forward and aeros up for the box.

Is the box already built? or are you going to build it? because you could just do subs and ports up. or subs up port forward. Any of the three ways would work so really it doesn't matter that much unless you plan to compete seriously.

subs forward and subs down are my only options cant do up bc i dont have enough room im my reg cab truck. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif my box is gonna be 11" deep, 20" tall, and 46" wide using .75" mdf. Supposed to be 4.08 cu ft after sub displacement.

also, if i shrunk the box down to 3.8 cube after sub displacement which gives me a real close 3.5cubes after 3 4" aeros that are 16.5" long each to give me 38hz. This would be better since I now would get more port area per cube ft of the box and ill be dead on with the RDs reccomendations of 1.75cube per 12 right or am I wrong somewhere? lol

they do seem fairly easy im just new to trying to design my own box. What are your suggestions on my box?

so from what ive written up, i can make a box that is 11" deep, 22" tall, and 40" wide will give me 3.59cu ft after all disp. with 3 4" aeros tuned to 38hz. anyone have a good program that could draw that up for me? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif all help is appreciated.
