Why did it fry?

Most likely low voltage killed it, or a combination of low voltage and low impedence. Id say to the guy "look, ID10T error."
the most common error in the world lol but shit if he had someone open it up already why does it matter shit he voided the warranty by that and installing it himself(im assuming you work at a shop)

tell him to stop letting friends ruin his shit for him and send him on his way lol

I'm not sure how he had them wired up they were MA audio 12's, dvc.

He is saying that when he hooked the amp up absolutely no sound come out of the subs and just started smoking. He is still blaming it on me saying I should stand behind my stuff. The amp worked perfect when I sold it to him, I tested it that day actually. He is saying that everything was hooked up right and it shouldnt have fried and trying to argue with me that low voltage will not fry one!
