Watched the strangers last night, to my surprise I did not having the following trend in this thread of "loud black people", I actually had fat white girls/teens whom sat behind my family and I. This wasn't too bothersome until I started to hear " like " every five seconds through out the entire opening previews. It got worse as I heard one of them open a soda they had brought in and it made a spewing noise with they held directly behind my seat letting it run down under my chair/feet. How nice, I truly am lucky for free soda. They did quiet down into the movie somewhat but to no avail.. one fat chick had to just go to the bathroom, or at least felt the need to have her asscheeks push my head just enough forward that she actually knocked my vision from the screen. I still feel the whiplash right now. All in all it was an ok movie anyhow but very predictable and well.. I hate fat white chicks "like" so much now.

The skin of Tekeste Kahsay, 59, has turned white, except for a patch of skin across his face.

Mr Kahsay, originally from Eritrea but now living in Sweden, says he feels like a black man trapped in a white man's body.

Mr Kahsay was badly injured as he worked at a sawmill in Lidkoping. Blood tests revealed the first stages of liver disease which could have proved fatal.

He was prescribed a drug which saved his liver but had astonishing side effects. His skin became increasingly light until he was white except for a dark "mask" on his face and ears. He has been shunned and attacked because of his strange appearance.

He said: ''This is terrible. I disappeared. I was a black man inside and a white man outside. My self-confidence is gone."

Mr Kahsay won £15,000 from a medical tribunal, The Mirror reports.

The doctor who treated him is reported to be off work with severe psychological problems. In Mr Kahsay's homeland, he is shunned as a leper, as white pigment is considered a sign of the disease.

He added: ''I am a black man and will always be a black man but I don't know who I am. But I have learned a lot about intolerance towards people of another colour.''

I was born in Oakland Calif.,I lived there for 35 years.I graduated from Oakland Tech high.I'm Italian and German.I have spent time in the LUX and Roxie theatre,and yes on Sat.afternoon,the kids[18 and below ] new every line in the Karate movies.Did I mention Oakland is a predominantly BLACK city.I actually foud it quite entertaining watching the kids have fun [in the ghetto,the movies might be your only escape,Except for CLOUD NINE].One learns a lot after 35 years in Oakland.I had a body shop on the East Side for15years.I've also lived in rich white areas and those little rich brats act out just as bad.That is why I don't go to the movies any more.Every race has its problems,we choose where we live.Unfortuneately---we can't have everything............................

You cannot compare the infrastructure of Africa and America. We have a million miles of paved road that goes to nowhwere. Africa has severe shortage of roads, and limited maintenance. This is especially true in the northeast part of the continent.

As far as programming, from my understanding they get a "world view" of current events. Local programming is limited. I am far more interested in things affecting my own community.

I didn't feel like drinking tonight and had nothing to do, so I decided to go see The Strangers.
Upon pulling up to the theater and seeing the large African American crowd, I knew it was going to be interesting. I bought my ticket, got my seat, and settled in. Flocks and Flocks of African Americans came in, just clowning around. One group decided to set right behind me. When the movie started, a group across the theater kept talking out loud, and giving a live commentary on the movie. No one had the balls to tell them to hush, so I did. I got a thumbs up from the white girls in front of me, which made me laugh. The blacks just kept on. One of the blacks said they need to turn the volume up, to which a dude behind me responded "If you'd shut the hell up you could hear it".

This led to an outbreak of the black guys talking shit, wanting to fight. Finally the black group got escorted out. I was hoping it was over.

Well before too long blacks started yapping again. The 3 black girls and guy behind me just kept on, so I told them SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Next thing I know they are talking about me, saying there are too many white people in this movie. ****ing ridiculous.

It was getting out of hand again, and finally three employees came into the theater and had to stay the entire time. The black girl behind me kept getting her phone out, and an employee told her to put it up. The girl got it out again 10 minutes later and he told her to give it to him or leave. Well the guy that was with them started raising hell out loud. He finally calmed down, and an agreement was made that the phone could be put in the purse, and if the employee was harassed again the cops would be called.

Thank god it was a great movie, otherwise I would have wasted time and money. One of the better movies I have seen in a while, and it was truly a bit scary.
