My friend told me you can unlock your iPhone and install an app where the touchscreen of your phone becomes a scale. I guess this is possible because it is all touch screen... Anyone heard of this or know how to do it??

I've heard of an iPhone clone that is only a scale (no phone). No scale app that I could find.

First you need to delete the anti-scale prevention mechanism, I put mine in the microwave for 45 seconds and had no trouble getting it working. It even has a setting for 'weed' and 'crack'

the iphone has an accelerometer in it but it doesnt measure pressure. There may be an app but it is just for looks. The iphone is great but its not a drug dealers device!

The Iphone is touch sensitive and uses the heat from your finger to control the touchscreen. An app. like this would be just for looks for an Iphone. However, it would work on an HTC device such as the Spint Touch, as it's screen is pressure sensitive.

BTW, to the post above mine...The accelerometer is only used to put the phone into landscape mode when it is flipped.

not neccisarily...

there are several apps that use this feature to control things. including the level app, and a game called marble. both of these apps make use of the tilt sensitive feature and are controlled by the angle at which you use the phone.
