Ignorance breeds this type of destruction to language. English may as well not exist for the majority of the nation, and I'm not pinning on it just on a single attribute, but overall society has crushed it.

Did it never cross your mind that people with different cultural upbringings might speak differently than you? Southerners, East coast and west coast people all speak with different slang and dialect than those from the midwest and north, so how is it that it is only black people that are too lazy to speak the same as what YOU consider to be proper English?

Well sure its not european english, but we had our own dialect that has been turned on its head. Which is understandable that it happens, but in the last couple years it has been ran into the ground with all sorts of slang being accepted as real language.

I also have problems with people using words out of place. For example at my work, which is considered one of the most diverse companies by fortune 500 and such, there was a note posted by one of my co-workers on the door. I can guess who, and their schooling background, and it was a small detail.

the note read "DO to people leaving things behind..." the DO, is obviously not correct. It's a small example, and I deal with larger ones everyday speaking to people like this.

And stereotypes survive because they are partially true. I'm sure stereotypes about whites are as true as the stereotypes about other races. I have had my subs ganked recently in the hood, and there are about 10 white ppl that live in that vicinity of an entire section 8 housing area. I hate to sound racist, but there are always reasons for stereotypes.

I dont get how you are taking it as im only applying it to blacks.

Jesus Christ, reading through this thread really made me jump, for real.

i thought this forum had mature people and all. but i guess i was wrong. its really unbelievable how so many people habour racist ideas in their minds and heads but don't show it overtly. i am truly shocked and scared....

Why doesn't someone start a thread about "WHY DO WHITE PEOPLE WAKE UP AND KILL ALL 5-7 MEMBERS OF THEIR FAMILY WITH NO REMORSE", OR "WHY DO WHITE MOTHERS PUT THEIR BABIES IN WASHING MACHINES" OR "WHY DO WHITE TEENAGE KIDS GRAB SUB-MACHINE GUNS TO PRACTICE THEIR HALO SHOOTING SKILLS ON THEIR SCHOOLMATES"....

People, we need to start thinking outside the box. Lots of cultures and behaviour are peculiar to difference "races" but that does not mean they should be looked down on or discriminated.

It saddens my heart to read alot posts on here about race and discrimination from different members but it even kills my heart to think about how many would pretend in the real world around co-workers, friends and all.

I am African and Yes the typical African is quite different in character and behaviour from a teenage African-American because of the different exposure and culture but the entire crap on African-American, White, Brown, Asian etc is all socially constructed. And it takes an open mindframe which many don't have to understand it. There is a certain point to which a person might not like another person's character or behaviour (like me personally really hates when teenage kids make too much unneccessary noise in theatres) but when u start taking it past the point of just behaviour and start attributing and generalizing it towards a certain group or race or ***. Then it becomes hate. Reading the heading of the thread, " Why can't black people behave during a movie?", i knew many would immediately believe it to be racist but its not. If its a certain behaiour common to certain people with no direct or indirect hate, then its just an observation which one doesn't like. But when u escalate it to "blacks" in general and throw in all other weak and socially constructed reasons to degrade blacks or other races, then its just pure prejudice, discrimination and hate.

I wonder where the world will be in a 100years.....

I swear every time i try to bring my family to a nascar event some stupid crackers ruin the whole day.
