why buy a HU?

You DONT want to use the stock speakers?
If I was leasing a car, I wouldnt even bother putting a setup in it, unless I planned on buying the car at the end of the lease.
Absolutely..I myself started to mod the crap out of my Avalanche even though I was leasing it...the exception was I knew I would eventually buy it out at the end..so I wasn't worried. I can't imagine investing time and effort only to stip it back down on a standard 3 yrs 36,000.

what u guys think the best way for me to go? i dont think im going to buy the car after the 3 year lease.. for sure.. i got about 2 1/2 years left...

about to add a system soon.. isnt there so other way besides buying a HU...? i heard there are switchs you can put somewhere esle or something like that.. if u know anything please help thanks

If all you would like is loud sound, then add a sub and an amp for that sub, then you can just buy "RCA converters" which are a few cheap wires that will allow you to run your subs through your stock head unit...I would not reccomend getting a new head unit when you are leasing the car...Good luck

I woudln't consider a stock HU, stock speakers, sub amp & sub a "system". If you insist on going around buying an HU, or as you put it, "wasting money" on an HU, then don't. Just get a line-ouput converter and you'll be fine. You don't want good sound anyways.
