I don't know. Do you feel the black community escapes and never comes back or should the go back and attempt to lift up others. In the white community, the answer is very clear....once you leave, you pretend you never lived there. From what I see on TV ( I don't know any blacks personally that have "made it") it is commonplace to try to go back and rebuild the community with infrastructure improvements, business investments, etc.

Not necessarily. I see his point. When the white CEOs saw that their children were listening to rap, they saw a cash crop. After that they bought into the genre. It wasn't until that that we saw the mainstream "club" rap hit the market. Black people are just to stupid to realize that they are demoralizing their culture in order to make a quick buck.We have the ability to turn it around, but its too easy to lookout for just yourself.

I didn't say social collectivism is a bad thing. It could be a good thing. Either way, it's a different thing. And if you accept such collectivism as a part of your culture, then why measure against a culture that will slit your throat for a job interview (ie, the white culture)

Sadly, my points don't get answered well. The answers are very complex. Not saying blacks (by virtue of being black) are incapable of answering, they just aren't easy problems.

And I feel a lot of that stems from what is seen on tv and heard in shitty rap songs. RC10Mike thinks that Most blacks are into flashy shit because more than likely thats what hew sees.
