Why are the lights blinking ...

Lights on a cheap MTX amp were blinking and my subs just turn off. What could this be from? I play them kinda loud. Could it be a connection problem? I was driving and they cut off and the light on the bass boost knob shut off, and then they just turned back on randomly. Is the amp over heating or what...

Im deffinatley getting a better amp though...

would that cause the amp to go off though? or just not work on the beats its trying to hit? or if i turned it down should it play then.
