Why are audio people so serious???

ok so this is my first post in a while, but I posted a meme to imgur yesterday and it is currently at -12 points and the only reason I can think is because audio people take things way too serious. Now I know there are no absolutes (rule 34) because there will always be exceptions, but I found the picture funny and clearly sarcastic.

Just heard from a guy yesterday, he has a 5000 watt system, hittin like 155 deebeez - 2 2000 watt Boss audio 12" subs, and a 1000 watt ssl amp, "my system is puttin out 5000 wattz, each sub has 2000 watts and the amp is good for another 1000 "

I Shit you not, you can't make this stuff up .....
