why 4 and not 2?

it says 300w bridged @ 4 ohms... is that right? it makes more sense to me that be at 2... i just want to make sure so i know which dvc to get...

i wanted a se12 and viper 1200, but i think im just gonna save $300 or so and get this and a rwe302 (mb reference 12")...

why do you say if i'm really getting that amp? i know its not the greatest, but it will push that mb ref wont it?

you have a better amp for a mb reference 12"? i'd love suggestions... the only reason i like the refs is because i've heard them in a .5 sealed and they sounded good... im gonna put them in 1cuft and it will sound better...

although, i have a ~2.3 @ 32 hz if it would sound good in there?

your killin me bro do you know the concept of boxes? Mainly a sealed box is for Sq (sound quality) vs a ported box tuned to what you want which is mainly for Spl (sound pressure level), but you can get a killer sub, put in a sealed box and have both maybe a 70-30 mix. Example a adire audio brahma in a sealed box will defy all odds and make you cream your pants! I say give it a solid 500rms in a 2 cube box tuned at 34 hz.

i know the BASICS of boxes... i meant 1cuft > .5 that i heard it in (.95 is fact spec)... but i know a properly built and tuned ported box will be louder and sound if not better than as good as a sealed...

nvm, im just going to get the alpine deal with crutchfield and use the type-s until i can upgrade...

Why not buy a used sub on here? And a used amp, you'll get better for your money...
