Whose subs would you choose for the best performance per dollar?

I'm surprised no one has mentioned ED. Their subs not only pound, but they sound good doing it, and they're not expensive.

Have never heard 1 positive thing said about their subs, so that doesn't surprise me at all.

The Exodus stuff looks extremely promising for the price. XBL^2, 27mm of xmax, low MMS and .5mh inductance... for $165... wow!

i think elemental designs have amazing subs for such a good price, seen, owned, and installed a few of them and have nothing but good things to say about them

that's what I said too, seems to be overlooked on this forums alot. None of the the 20,000+ popular kids are promoting them I guess. Just the more technically oriented members... Oh well..

Just saw the Exodus subs last night. Might be time for an upgrade to the HT

Subs that I've used/heard that had good SQ and solid output for a reasonable price:

AA Assassins, AQ HD's, FI Q, Beyond Audio, Tempest

Subs that haven't really impressed me: CVR's, Pioneer SPL's, L7's as they all just make noise IMO, although it was loud noise...

Exactly, but even that is a thing of past now for the most part. Their products are A-1 top notch.
