They must have made it available after the release, because that was one of the "perks" of upgrading to Pro over Home Premium.

Oh and I have 8Gb of ram and a quad-core processor, I think it's enough

oh really? show me? because ive yet to find anything, if you put windows 7 and xp on the same 5 yr old pc. witch will run faster? and it dosent even matter anyways becuase its still unstable and extremely easy to get virus'/malware/spyware

There are tons on top of tons of benchmark test that proves windows 7 is faster. The best OS from Microsoft in a very long time. My upgrade from vista on my labtop was a must. So don't be biasis

I had a HT pc I built with win 7 on it I did not care for it and bought a apple tv instead. But it is more stable than vista.

There are tons on top of tons of benchmark test that proves windows 7 is faster. The best OS from Microsoft in a very long time. My upgrade from vista on my labtop was a must. So don't be biasis

Ok your clearly uneducated. Win 7 is very stable. Any operating system can get a virus include Mac and Linux. You cant use the ignorant excuse that Windows has more viruses either. It doesnt. Ive posted this once before. There are way more Windows PCs out there than Mac or Linux machines. Thus the viruses are more known and documented. If you take the amount of viruses that are written for Mac or Linux and divide it into the market share of OS on each PC, Mac and Linux have more viruses than Windows.

And now before you try to be even more ignorant Steve Jobs recommends Antivirus software for Mac:

Win 7 is faster than XP, you cant argue it. Its a proven fact. On a 5 year old PC Win 7 will outperform simple as that.

Heres a nice little startup benchmark that was ran between XP, Vista, and Win7. Now mind you that XP has had 3 service packs, Win 7 has 0 and its still 6-8 seconds faster.

Windows has over 50,000 known virus'. Linux and Mac only have about 5. And its almost impossible for them to do anything without a root password.

And the reason he suggested anti virus is becuase mac is so much bigger than it was 10 yrs ago. Hes doing it to cover his ***. And no im not a mac fanboy.

And these little "benchmarks" you found, do some of the test yourself. Ive tried 7 on an older pc and it ran like shit. Xp ran alot better (amd althon 1.8ghz, 256mb ram, 40gb hd)
