All these scores are great and all, but i've seen no mention of headrest scores. Now that's much harder to pull off 150+ at on music //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
Headrest, single Type R 15.

Ya knowzz!

You guys spend alot of money. lol. Id prefer to do either 2 15"s or 18"s maybe, maybe run each off a p1000 (together about 3k) and be done with it. If i were to buy some high end drivers im liking the HDC3 15"s for the cost and specs of them and i think theyd work well with the p1000s. But choosing drivers is so **** hard. I also like the MAs im using now, at around 100$ a piece i get close to 1k power handling, they get **** low, very effecient and have a shit ton of excursion too. Not to mention theyre getting like 1/3 of their rated power. However the AQs have a much higher Fs so im thinking theyll do well with higher freq if im understanding how sub specs work? I dont think ill get into the comp scene unless its the low key unofficial ones though, but id still like a loud car to mess around with. Im thinking about selling my blaster as i dont ride it anymore but ive got over 2 grand in it and i probably couldnt sell it for even 1500. If i do that ill pick up that 82 civic and do a build in that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I have 2 redtops already that i got for cheap (15$) each. So i could use those, and get an HO alt and maybe 50ft of 1/0 and be set up for the electrical in that car i think. Lots of decisions to make though.

many people throw the this whole idea of being in the 150s daily around.

what they dont tell you is on what meter and how its measured.

one can say they are in the 150s for daily but its unclear and misleading also.

How about this question..

How many people can do a 150db + daily at the dash sealed on the TERMLAB ?

now lets see how many people answer

If someone around me had a termlab i would use it, but i have to go by what i got. I still dont think 156 is bad on a audio control as people i have talked to and said it was like 4 dbs off from the term lab.

Some AC's are more accurate than others. So 4db's is not really the standard. You are just going to have to get it on a termlab to find out:)

150db daily with 1,000 watts? Good luck with that.
the system in my sig is at 148.4 and i know i have alot to still do to it and its in my every day driver ask thorshammer:).Im gonna try @ the headrest and see what happens when i have time

x2!!!

numbers can be tossed around all day. ive metered as low as 146.2 and 151.6 with the same setup on the TL. depends on where the mic was placed and if it was a competition run (bassrace), or a burp score, could be anything.

149.9 here sealed up at the dash //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif, this was with a 43hz tone. ive never metered over a 50hz tone, kinda defeats the purpose of a daily. >40hz is where its at //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

i am gonna do 4 15's blowthrough in a f150 with a 300amp alt, and around 6krms and then step up to dual alts and run 10k watts tuned to around 32-33hz i bet that will do 150 daily haha
