Whos Next?

I'm sure a big part of that is because goob needs to choose someone who is going to be active on the board.
Just because people dont have tons of posts doesnt mean that there not watching or reading or who are active. Why post useless posts in threads just to get your post count up?

like i said.. it would help if you had been here more then a month. BOB got 0 respect. because he was an idiot. Me and sic followed hima round for weeks correcting all the "help" he was giving to the newbs. then he got the mod nod. If you were a newb it would take all of 2 posts to see he was an idiot. I dont know what world you are from but respect is not lost it must be EARNED.
yes, i signed up to this forum in the begining of jan, but i have seen what came before bob, all the site changes, etc. i am not a newb to forums, in fact, i have a little forum i made on the sided, so i know the technical in-and outs, tos, etc.... i'm not saying you get full respect, and for some, real respect needs to be earned first. i'm just saying the title comes with a level of immediate respect...

I really can't think of too many reasons why anyone would want to be a moderator around here - it's not like you get paid...

In audioholic's case he obviously knows a lot, and enjoys posting on the forum... From that I'm sure he must gain a certain amount of personal satisfaction in helping to keep the site running smoothly and keeping it enjoyable for everyone else too... In the case of mods like Bob or Worstenemy it would seem the enticement came from personal recognition and authority/power...

I think anyone who would want to be a mod should ask themselves whether its because they really want to help the forum, or because they want the recognition and power...

Of the names I've seen tossed around, and based on posts I've read, I think ProRabbit would be a good choice for mod around here...

I guess for you. I dont respect anyone because they are a mod on a forum. LOL . not till its earned. I didnt like mot but the more i talk to him I can respect him as a mod, holic, denim, havent talked to any of the other mods. Im not going to change the way i think about someone because their name is orange. thats ridiculous

i would liek to know how someone who signed up a week ago would know anything about what this particular site needs in a mod? not trying to a **** but how can anyone say what a mod for this specific site needs to have in his arsenal when you have not even been around to see the problems other mods have presented that we would like to avoid
well lets see. ive seen the rise and fall of saget and ive seen the way mike and holic do things. Also, the job of a moderator is the same as many other positions in life. so id say anyone on earth who is alive and has been could make some good assumptions as to what qualities a moderator needs. Dont try to push the idea that being on this site longer than someone makes that person smarter. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/beatdeadhorse5.gif.5d70132dea1eb89b73bf2fdbb6027dd6.gif and i have been a mod on another forum...same criteria applies.

Logic would dictate that if you post regularly you are active on the site... you suggested post count has a bearing on who becomes a mod; and I am merely suggesting that is the reason why...

ok.. just noticed you joined last month as well. obviously that explains it.. and no it doesnt make them smarter it makes them more knowledgable about how this specific site is run.

i see exactly how this site is run. it doesnt take a degree in caraudio.com to observe the way things work around here.....btw its just about the same basic principles as every other forum i have particapated in. once again... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/beatdeadhorse5.gif.5d70132dea1eb89b73bf2fdbb6027dd6.gif
