Who's got Koda 8's in their cars?

Aright, who's got them? In door pods that is. I've found a pair of them and due to the face that they displace almost a full 100 cubic centimeters more than the extremis and the XXX drivers, I'm seriously considering useing the Koda 8' in my doors. Their cheeper too. Anyone ever done it? What's involved, it's must have been harder cause they are larger and longer than the 6 inch drivers aformentioned

Haven't done it personally. But in order to do it, you'd definitely need to run 3-ways. You won't be able to just do the Koda8's and a tweeter.

Which is where the XXX and Extremis have the advantage; they can be ran in a 2-way configuration.

I know, I had already planned a 3 way system so using the Koda 8 is simply a matter of replaceing the original midbass I had planed (an Re XXX) with it. The driver itself is larger than the Extremis and the XXX, but enclosure requirements are pretty small. I think the only real problem here, besides imaging (which would be a problem regardless) is the driver size. I think I'm going to order right now.
