there is one I got a while back in my brothers car, I did not have the saw set up and for 30 bucks O well. It is sealed for a 15 year old kicker 12 so its fine now that I have the basement all set up again I still see no need to change it. But if you are buying a new woofer and going all out don't waste your time make sure it is right.

I have one, built pretty good and double baffled. It depend on the box, not the super-cheap eBay one though...

only because i can't fit a regular box in my car, and i couldn't afford a custom ported one at the time.

i don't think it matters if your going sealed, but i would never buy ported pre-fab.

well I see where your logic is, but some companies do make pre-fabs for some subs specs, like L7s or w7s...

I have and still do use prefab boxes, you get what you pay for, i had a 12'' Q logic box for a single 12'' kicker cvr that worked well, but wasnt amazing. the box i have now is a double baffle dual 10'' l7 box... I really like it, it was really well done

yeah the jl w7 wedge box fits that sub really nicely. other than that im am def. not a fan of pre-fab boxes!

why would you need a double baffle for a 10" L7?

it is it flush mounted?

i think a prefab is fine if ur not going ported or have a sub with a high power handling...and of course its the rec. size for the sub.
