Who makes the best amps?

I looked around and didn't see a thread on this. Maybe I missed it. I just wanted to see what company you guys think makes the best amps. Rockford was pretty good in the 90's. Not so sure today but I've read a lot of people claiming on a 1,000 watt amp that their birth sheet showed 1,200 to 1,300 watts. JL is nice but pricey. Sundown looks like its quality stuff at fair prices. I had a Kicker and it does everything I need it to. So who you do you vote for?
