I made a few bucks off advertising on a few of my websites and other sites I host for friends thanks to Adbrite. I got my check the other day, wasn't a whole lot, but lot better than nothing

But seriously... Google Ads or something like that on a site that you can promote could make some side money.

Or find a source for items that you can sell on e-bay.
