I like oldschool amps because they really stand the test of time as far as quality is concerned. My Coustic DR amps are excellent examples. No frills at all, just a pure gainblock with balanced and unbalanced inputs.

Lanzar makes some nice Class D full range amps, the new ones. And there are so many quality A/B amps, you just need to look around.
