who make's crystal's new amps?

Shell looks the same as now extinct Avionixx. Is it the same manufacturer making Crystal amps that makes Avionixx or are they just using the same outer shell?

true dat, but they could get the heatsink from X place, and the board from Y place as well. heck there might be a freakin Zeff design in there (i highly doubt it hehe)

board has CENS circuitry too, VE all the way. But yeah, I guess it COULD have different design.

Its not uncommon for manufacturers to use the same heatsink. Its a generic heatsink. The only way to tell is to look at the boards. American Bass has used that heatsink. Their amps are not the same as avionnix.

hmm.. I'd like to find someone that had/has that AB amp and find out for sure whoe the build house was now!

Tsunami did use another build house for some of their amps and they look different from the VE builds.

You think the ampguts page on ROE might have it??

I have had one....

I should have guts around here.

But im almost postive they are different. The AB amps could go 18v unmodded.

The eD boards are different than those of Avionixx. The heatsink obviously comes from the same place.

dang! The Avionixxs' I've had have been the ClassT with a highly regulated supply and a couple of AXA's. I still use the AXA400.2 for front stage.
