Who lives in an apartment?

My apt is 1600 square feet, 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, washer and dryer IN unit, water included...$925

Our kitchen is as tiny as it gets but 3 guys really don't cook much. Bedrooms are huge, living room is big...All I need:)

Lets say you were to move out of state, would you have enough avaliable that you could use a good 5-10 grand if needed ?
I'm just thinking best case, if you decided to relocate and had to tap into what you had saved up.
Maybe...but I would borrow via student loans.

ever consider living in a trailer? the short time i lived in detroit i was able to buy a trailer for $1000, needed some cleaning and remodeling, but still solid. lot rent was only $285 a month + utilities and you have a whole house to yourself.
That is what my dad suggested. I could build a garge about any size for the price difference. (renting vs. trailer)

I don't really know what I want to do. I do know if I move out to this place, my car audio fund will be next to nothing. If I don't move out, I can get much nice stuff, but I am still living at home...which also sucks.

buy some old cots and line the walls/ceiling with them, line floor with plastic and get the jigsaw, router, and tablesaw goin in that sucker.
That is actually going to be the dealbreaker. If they disallow table sawing or working on car in the driveway, then it's def. a no-go.

living on your own is great, maybe find a room mate to cover the costs, its really not that bad, some apartments are setup with rooms on opposite ends, good for when you get the girls over.

Just make sure he's not a lazy ***** like mine...

i liked my trailer, plus you can atleast make money cause i cleaned my up and sold it within 6 months for $3500

To the original poster:

I make ~$3000 a month, and I just bought a house. I have a car payment and I'm paying insurance on three cars.

I can still live pretty comfortably, I don't have to worry about money, and I still buy electronic goodies all the time.

So I think you should have no problem paying for housing. If you moved down here to Spring Hill, You could almost buy a house for what your paying for that apartment.
