uhhh yeah pink floyd being a huge inspiration on the music world. David Gilmour is brilliant in his guitar solos...he uses the "little is more" attitude. Have you ever noticed how his solos aren't really that complex but they are so powerful and have the right lick at the right time? He's a huge inspiration to me, I wish I could write stuff like he does.

Same could be said for the songs, some of the stuff they have wrote I can't even imagine how someone could create stuff like they have. The band will forever be one of the greatest that have ever graced the presence of this earth.

You can't compare Rock with Emo to make a point.

Good or bad music is all in the eye of the beholder. EMO is crap like Fall Out Boy, or Dashboard Confessional, not AFI. I don't mind opinions on music, but at least be informed on what you're talking about.

They've never had different lead singers, only guitat and bass player. It's hard to just tell you what they mean, you need to understand the way things are written.

1. I don't believe he is gay.

2. Most music is about life and it's problems.

3. It's not country, pop, bluegrass, or disco.

4. There's alot of music that I wouldn't consider rock, but it is labeled as such.

I'm watching this video right now and this is pretty bad, I don't care for it at all never have....sorry.

If you like the music though, to each his own honestly. Not gonna flame I just think this is horrible music. IMHO
