song bit rate/quality restoration

can anyone help me find a program designed to restore the quality/bitrate of the shitty 94kbps and lower songs i've dl'd from several years ago? the clarity and reproduction in my car fvcking blows. i have all my music on my ipod (~10gigs worth). maybe 5% or less of my music needs to be "restored".

also is there a program to "restore" songs that were burned from beyond listenable scratched cds cuz the songs skip on my ipod?

94kbps that's horrible you should download songs near 192 kbps they have some good sound quality to em, but you're prolly not gon take my advice since i am the dumbest idiot on this forum

You can't "restore" it. Once it's been compressed, that's it. Only way to get higher bitrates would be to download ones that are higher, or rip the tracks off the original discs...

theres to no way to "restore quality", it was ripped at 94, therfor it is a 94 bit track, you can convert it upward, but it wont do anything except maybe worsen the quality...you can remove clicks and pops in some songs without noticable quality loss using any vsti based program, but there is a chance you will lessen the quality of the track as click and pop removal is actually just the removal of high notes a clip at a time...

basically, your stuck like chuck...thats what the internet is for

well that blows. adn actually...some of the songs were live songs and others were just ripped at horrible bitrates. like i said, i dl'd them at least 6 years ago roughly. and they sound horrible. i was hoping for a miracle here... :sigh:
