Who is the most popular band ever?

OKI,,,,

enough of who said this and who said that and who has been to ""europe (where in Europe?) the most""..

I am a trained musician and sent much of my earlier years being a hardcore drummer, then on to the grunge scene,, then to being a jazz nazi, and spending a bit of time playing professionally under all of the fore mentioned persona, (mostly Jazz.

Being a trained and semi professional (jazz trained musician) indicates an extensive knowledge of artists, music history, theory and the such.

When i was somewhat younger i would always goat conversations such as this about things such as "who is the best band ever," who is the best drummer ever," who is the what the **** ever best ever."

These all are very stupid party questions.

To answer the question posed by the OP however,,,,,,

whether we like it or not..... the actual answer to the question is.......

if you wanted a better answer or better discussion... ask a more specific question.

OH. YEA..... I WAS lucky enough once to catch Rammstein for free in Stockholm in 2004. WAS FANTASTIC!!!!

who would you say is the best drummer ever then?

I don't know about best (gotta be up there anyway) but my favorite is Tomas Haake from Meshuggah, the guy is crazy.

j/k i know what you mean man. I've been drumming for about 11 years now, its just hard to explain to people that theres so many different genres of drumming you can't pick one....but if i did...i'd go with ed shaugnessy
