yeah now a decent pack will run you $10-$15.....and all the inserts are way too common now unless it is a numbered card.

Now if we're talking old school cards, thats another story. I laugh when people tell me how their card investment is gonna pay, and they are buying tons of cards from the late 80s and early 90s. I just smile and say cool. 99.9% of those cards are a dime a dozen //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif. Whenever I buy a good collection, the majority will go on ebay.

you just reminded me........I need to find his Score rookie card....its a PSA9 (first graded card I purchased)

i got that griffey about 8 or 9 years ago when he was in his prime. i also have his score rookie card. i also got the complete i wanna say 83 donruss set with the ripken rookie card. also got wade boggs, roger clemmens, frank thomas, ricky henderson rookie cards. just seemed to loose interest after awhile.

I have tons of cards in my closet from the 40's-early 90's. I tried to sell them but there worth too much for most people and just hard to sell in general I know I could go through them and just pick out cards and sell them 1 by 1 but too much time involved that I dont want to spend doing lol
